The boys also had a strong showing I will post some results tomorrow.
We will take Friday off from practice and start preparing for Divisonals on Monday. Have a great weekend! Good job today.

Great Track = Great Results

We had a lot of personal records on Thursday here are some highlights

Matea swept the shot and discus for the second meet in a row. She had a PR in the discus with a throw of 106' 5' which qualifies her for the deep list.

Nick placed 1st in the 400 with a new PR of 54.84

This is just a few, we head to Missoula on Saturday.

Randi had a PR to take 1st in the long jump with a 15'2"

Noxon Meet Has been Moved

They have moved the Noxon meet to Libby which means rubber track! Still starting at 2:00 the leave time has changed to 10:30. It will be a busy week with 3 meets on the docket.

With a Jump of 14' 10" Randi ranks 8th in our region to qualify for the top 10 meet in Missoula. Think Sun Shine for Thursday!

We saw our first day of sun at the meet in Missoula.

The girls picked up 19 points to place 9th out of 18 teams.

Great job! We had some great early season marks. Our next meet is the county meet at Thompson on Thursday 4/10. This meet may be move to Plains I will inform you when I receive confirmation. Field events start at 1:00 and running at 2:00.

Throws in the cold!

1st Meet in the Books

It was a cold one but we got in our first meet of the season. here are some results

3rd in the 4x800 relay kudos to Riley P. for running two legs. (Riley P., Will,Riley W., Riley P.)

3rd in the Discus (Colton, Misty, Kevin)

3rd in the progressive meadley ( Misty, Trey, Will, Riley P.)

2nd in the 4x100 weight relay (Misty, Colton, Riley P., Kevin)

We will be taking a full team to the Drummond Meet in Missoula on Thursday. Leave time is 7:30am. Be sure to bring a lunch.

The bleachers have been moved!

Thanks to HSTC for moving the bleachers off the track, now all we need is some more dry weather to help us out.

We will be holding one practice over spring break at 3:30 on Monday, this practice is mandatory for all students that are attending the Plains meet and optional for the rest of the team.

We have seven going to the Plains meet next week. The kids are getting alot stronger and we are ready to get out on the track. pray for sunshine!

New Season : New Uniforms

With the snow melting it's track season! we will need some more dry weather before we can get out on the track. Assisting myself again this year will be Mr. Merideth and with 100% of our team returning for 08 and the addition of very athletic freshman we are both very excited for this years season.

Practice will start Monday, March 10th at 3:50 to 5:30. This will be our normal practice time all year. We will be holding our parent meeting on Thursday, March 12th at 5:30pm in the high school library.

Our first meet of the season is at Plains on Thursday, March 27th. I will be sending a full schedule home as soon as I confirm a few more start times.

I will be using this blog to post news, recent personal records, and pictures from recent meets.
